First I’ve gotta say that this is super effing helpful. It was a pain in the ass at first prior to discovering this. My clients were receiving spam from domains ending in dot eu (.eu), dot work (.work), dot link (.link), dot webcam (.webcam) and others.
At first I was just blocking these emails one by one which is pretty much impossible and useless but I found out you could use asterisks in place of anything. So when I was blocking them one by one at first I would input something like:
*@whatevername.eu for [email protected] or *@whatevername.work for [email protected] etc. I didn’t know you could place asterisks AFTER the @ sign.
So to block all domains ending in dot whatever, just do *@*.eu, *@*.work in SpamAssassin. Voilà! Check it out below!
